I’ve recently decided that passionfruit is my favorite kind of Rita’s. Its yumminess has made me curious about its origins. Has anyone actually ever seen or eaten a passion fruit?
A passionfruit water ice haiku:
Passionfruit, it’s the
tastiest water ice. Though
color’s gross, flave’s fab.
It’s this putrid shade of beige-y pink. Try it though, for real.
When I was trying to find a good link that would explain water ice to my non-Philly-area readers, I Wikipedia’ed it and was summarily redirected to “Italian ice”- so not the same thing. I was amused, however, by this helpful (?) note:
Water ice redirects here. You may be looking for ice, the solid form of water.
