I had a dream last night that Obama was vegan, and how cool it would be to have a vegan president.  I woke up and realized the truth is almost as cool.

Check out this neat ad.  It’s for insurance, but whatever.  It shows a wheelchair-using woman going out in the rain to vote.  I’ve never seen it on tv, but my mom did yesterday and called me to tell me “I thought of my baby!” and how it made her cry.

I didn’t have to brave the rain to vote.  I just went downstairs.  As I wrote back in April when Pennsylvania had our primary, my polling place is in the lobby of my apartment building, and the election workers know just what to do to lower the voting machine to wheelchair height. I do like how she goes under the gate in the video, though.  I might employ that trick sometime.
